Using nodebox as a python module?

I just stumbled on NodeBox - great fun and very nice output!

One thing: I wonder whether it is possible (or planned for future releases) to use nodebox as a python module (i.e., import it into ones own python program where it is used for producing graphics output)?

Will you be adding support for running the window from the command line soon? I'd like to add nodebox functionality to an existing python script I have...
