Temporary Nodebox Community Code Sharing Site?
Posted by Theodore Test on Aug 04, 2008The code/node repository that Tom De Smet mentioned on an earlier thread sounds like a very neat idea. However, given an expected 2009 release date, might I suggest adopting a temporary community code-sharing site for the meantime?
In addition to being a stopgap community-code center, a good site could take some of the pressure off of the wonderful Nodebox developers to implement the wide variety of non-Nodebox-specific stuff needed to support a robust community-code site.
One option I've come across is the Siafoo code sharing website. It seems to have some neat code-editing, library-organizing, and sharing features. Perhaps we could start a Nodebox group there?
That said, I'm sure there are other code-sharing sites out there, so I'd like to hear other people's suggestions before committing heavily to one site or another.
