Yes, it's seems a isolated library. You just need to copy it and replace the installed color folder.

Yep. But I think I remember that it used to be a part of nodebox-libraries.zip in earlier releases.

Not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but it looks like "colors" module is missing from latest nodebox-libraries.zip
colors folder is there, but no .py files in there, only some .txt or .xml files.
I've downloaded colors.zip separately and it looks fine.
